Cover for Parents and Parents in Law
BPOMAS members can now cover their parents on medical as dependents .Each principal member can cover up to four (4) parents dependents. Please note the following;
- The parent dependent should not be more than 65 years of entry at the time of joining
- Parent dependent will have their own medical aid cover as though they were principal members
- The continued membership of a parent dependent on the scheme shall be subject to the substantive member continuing to be a fully paid up BPOMAS member.
- The principal member shall be liable to pay 100% of the contributions for the parent dependent ( there will be no employer subsidy for parents dependent)
- A parent dependent can be enrolled under a different benefit option from that of the principal member.
